The Tax Office is responsible for the collection of Ulster County and Town of Saugerties Taxes and the Saugerties Central School District Tax. In addition, the Tax Office also collects water bills for the Glasco and Malden Water Districts, and combination water/sewer bills for the Barclay Heights Sewer District and Glasco Water District.
All powers and duties of this office, as well as collection procedures, are statutory and defined in the New York State Real Property Tax Law, except for water/sewer collections, which is defined in Town Law.

In general, the hours of the Tax Office are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
