Welcome to Saugerties Town Hall

The majority of the Saugerties Town Offices are located at 4 High Street in the Village of Saugerties.  We are open for business Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., except for holidays.  (See the "Calendar" for details of when the Town Hall offices are closed for holidays.)

To reach Town Hall personnel, you can visit the Town Hall "Contacts" page, to get the extension (and/or email addresses) for anyone or any office you specifically want to contact.  Or you can call 845-246-2800 and you will be walked through a few of the more popular options.

The Police Department, which is housed in the Town Hall Buildings, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and  they can be reached at 845-246-9800 or 845-246-9909.  For emergencies, please dial 911.

The building that houses these offices has been used by many businesses since the early 1900s.  It was purchased and renovated by the Town in 2002 from the Town's share of proceeds from the Woodstock 94' concert.  This facility combined 2 Town office buildings, making it more convenient and accessible to the public, because prior to the consolidation the offices operated many miles apart.  Thanks to actions taken to ensure energy efficiencies in our Town Hall building (and more than 20 other "Climate Smart" actions), the Town of Saugerties was among the first of the municipalities in Ulster County to be named Climate Smart at the Bronze level.
