This document is a rider on the Town laws, with the dual purposes of
a) guiding the Village Review Board and the Town Preservation Commission in their work, and
b) giving owners of designated properties the same information that the Board and Commission use for making decisions for approval or disapproval of a Certificate of Appropriateness.
This document was developed under the terms of a New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Grant through the Certified Local Government program. The document was designed and developed by Historic Preservation Commission Vice Chairman Michael Sullivan Smith.
