Pre-registration for the 2012 Saugerties Summer Day Camp will begin February 6, 2012. Registration and health forms can be obtained at the Saugerties Town Hall, 4 High Street, during regular business hours, at the Kiwanis Ice Arena, in the Cantine Sports Compex, and as dowloadable PDFs on this Town Web-Site page.
In addition to the full day camp (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), the program also offers a half-day (9am to Noon) option for those who require this alternative. This summer's camp will run for six consecutive weeks beginning on Monday, July 9, 2012 and ending on Friday, August 17, 2012. For Town of Saugerties residents pre-registering for the full day program cost is $380.00 per child or $730.00 maximum per family. The half-day program cost is $200.00 per child or $385.00 maximum per family. For out of town residents pre-registering the full day program cost is $420.00 per child or $810.00 maximum per family. The half-day program cost is $220.00 per child or $425.00 maximum per family.
For Town of Saugerties residents registering on-site the full day program cost is $420.00 per child or $810.00 maximum per family. The half-day program cost is $220.00 per child or $425.00 maximum per family. For out of town residents registering on-site the full day program cost is $455.00 per child or $885.00 maximum per family. The half-day program cost is $240.00 per child or $465.00 maximum per family. It really pays to pre-register, as prices are considerably less than on-site prices.
Arts & Crafts, Sports Instruction, and Nature Studies are offered to each group several times per week. Several field trips are being planned and possible visitors are being explored. A tentative Calendar of Events will be released at a later date.
Saugerties Summer Day Camp operates under strict conformity with both State and County regulations, along with full compliance of Participant to Counselor ratios.
